Norm started the Spirit of Elijah Ministries International in 1997 and is the Executive Director. He has served the body of Christ faithfully and brings experience, inspiration, spiritual depth, and practical, simple, profound insight into the Scriptures as he speaks in men’s retreats, father/son and father/daughter events, youth conferences, marriage retreats, family life conferences, homeschool conferences, and spiritual life events.
How do we arrange for Norm to speak at our event?
Begin contact by inquiring about Norm’s availability by email. Please include the name of your organization, the location and kind of event you are planning, and the dates you would like to schedule. It is recommended that you contact Norm 6 months to 1 year before the date of your event to ensure that your date is open, although if you have waited until the last minute, so to speak, don’t hesitate to inquire. You never know. God may have arranged to have that date open just for you!

What are the financial considerations involved?
The Board of Directors of the ministry have asked that the host group provide for travel costs which include airfare, mileage reimbursement to and from his home to the San Antonio airport at the IRS tax rate per mile ($17.50), meals in transit (either reimburse by receipt or figure on the average of $20), rental car and gas (if necessary), and lodging accommodations. He will make the travel arrangements and then the host party may reimburse the ministry.
The Board of Directors also do not want finances to be the determining factor, so they have not determined a specific speaking fee. It is suggested that the host provide an honorarium of their choice to the ministry and give an opportunity for the audience to give a love offering to the ministry (if appropriate during the event). We ask that the leader of the host group (or a representative) invite the audience to participate in this offering. (Elijah Ministries will provide envelopes for this offering if you wish). The ministry is a non-profit organization that primarily relies on the giving of individuals and churches for financial support. The generous contributions of those who have been encouraged and blessed by Norm’s ministry enables him to give himself full-time to Elijah Ministries and to respond to invitations from churches and organizations that cannot afford to provide for his travel.
If your church or organization is not financially able to cover these expenses for an event, please don’t hesitate to inquire about Norm’s availability. It is our policy to trust the Lord to provide through the love and partnership with others who know how life-changing the messages are that God has given Norm. Where God opens a door of ministry for Norm we want to do all we can to enable him to walk through that door.
Norm lives on an annual salary determined by the Board of Directors. All tax-exempt contributions and donations by churches and foundations goes to the ministry and not to Norm personally.
