Empowering Christian families through faith-based education

Norm Wakefield’s Biography for Homeschool Audiences

Norm Wakefield has been speaking at Homeschool conferences nationally and internationally since 1992. He launched The Spirit of Elijah Ministries International in 1997 with a desire to see men’s hearts turned to God and to equip them to apply the gospel to their lives. He has a shepherd’s heart and the biblical principles he teaches are just as impactful in the lives of women, young adults, teens, and children. You’ll find Norm’s messages to be powerfully life-changing because all are based soundly on the gospel with a reliance on the Holy Spirit to give understanding and application to his listeners. Norm has served the body of Christ faithfully and brings experience, inspiration, spiritual depth, and practical, simple, profound insight into the Scriptures as he speaks in men’s retreats, father/son and father/daughter events, youth conferences, marriage retreats, family life conferences, and spiritual life events. Norm and Alma have been married for 52 years, have four children, seventeen grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. They also have experience with children with special needs as well since their daughter, Amanda, has Down Syndrome.
