“I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats this bread will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.”
— John 6:51
As we move into 2026, Jesus reminds us that He has already prepared what we truly need.
He is the living bread — not just nourishment for a moment, but life for eternity.
In a year that will bring its own challenges, opportunities, and unknowns, Christ does not offer quick fixes or temporary strength. He offers Himself. His body, given for the life of the world, becomes our source of rest, hope, and lasting life.
To “eat this bread” in 2026 is to live daily from His life within us — to trust His sufficiency, to receive His love, and to allow that life to flow through us to others.
As this new year unfolds, may we return again and again to the table He has set, finding in Jesus everything we need to live, love, and endure. |
